They had a really tough job, with about 20 years of paint to strip off. They painted with Deck paint, which is supposed to hold up for 25 years. So, the paint will outlive ME. LOL. Don't know about Joseph. His Mom lived to 97 years, and his Uncle made it 100 years. Anyway, they are both really nice guys, and did a super job of cleaning up after themselves. The sun is out today. Thank you for the update Victoria. That sounds great! I appreciate the hard work that the team there has done to get this vacancy filled so quickly with a quality tenant. 

I had gotten an e-mail from Margaret last week about a couple of items in need of attention that were discovered at the recent 180 day inspection. After the move out inspection, we can see if any other items are in need of repair and put a plan in place to get everything taken care of to the satisfaction of the new tenants. I will await further information from my assistant property manager after the inspection.

I chose BCI Property Management to manage my rental and was very impressed with the team effort to find me a tenant. They did this within days of my signing up for their services. I still hold a mortgage on my rental so finding a tenant that fast really helped my finances a lot. Recently my tenant didn't pay the rent and I was looking at an eviction process for the first time ever. BCI stepped in and handled everything. Their experience got the tenant out without eviction. They kept me well informed throughout the process. Most importantly the BCI team once again found a tenant for me within days. BCI made sure that all the details were taken care of in a way that helped me save money as well. I do not believe any other property management company would have come even close to the efforts of the BCI team in helping me. Thank you BCI. I love the extra effort and help you have given!

You guys have been amazing. There have been times that I have called impatient and frustrated and I have been welcomed with nothing but understanding and genuine helpful attitudes.... From literally every person on your team. The frustrations I've had, were there because of the situation with our unreliable tenants; not because of anyone at BCI. BCI has been nothing but supportive. You and your team are appreciated more than you know. In regards to the negative reviews I've come across, I think that some owners have unrealistic expectations. It's not as though a property manager can be at every property everyday. I know firsthand that if I, as an owner, have any concerns at all, that you guys are right on top of things. I've seen complaints about texting and a lack of return calls. Personally, in today's technologically advanced age, I feel like a quick text can be more convenient than a phone call as you guys are busy and so are most of your clients. Should I choose to call in place of a text, Kris is always available to answer or return calls in a timely manner. All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you. We appreciate all of your hard work!!!!

First and foremost, we would like to thank you all for being so helpful and patient with us during this entire process.  Initially we were shocked to see BCI offering to manage properties at such a low rate compare to competitors.  But after our first meeting with Don we soon realized the genius to the BCI business model.


My wife and I are military and purchased our home in 2006.  Being military it was only inevitable that we would have to move, and luckily we landed in paradise (Hawaii).  Well, in the current housing market selling our home wouldn't have been a very lucrative endeavour so we decided to rent in order to build a little more equity before cashing in.  We searched high and low for the best management situation for our investment both economically and business wise.  Little did we know that our search would lead us to find that the best management situation would also end up being the fiscally smart choice as well.

  I switched to BCI because I was desperate with my previous agent. I was so surprised on how thoughtful and efficient Don is. The day I signed the contract he immediately went to inspect the property, change the lock, did a walk through and provide me a bunch of photos on the damage the evicted tenant did. He always communicate to me what he is doing so that I feel my property is in good care. His documents are very clear and very detail so that you know where the money goes. For owners that are not living in the area, this is the kind of agent you can entrust your property with.

We actually tried another management team before them and can testify that their management contract is 'owner friendly' and their rates, the best we found. We have five properties being managed by BCI Properties and have had experience with their professional, effective services in several circumstances. With a tenant complaint, BCI, quickly addressed the needs, taking effective action to remedy; with an unpleasant, unresponsive tenant who lost his job and was incommunicado to us, BCI Properties curtailed a lengthy continued occupation and brought eviction resolution in a timely manner; when a tenant gave notice to vacate, BCI Properties went to work getting the house restored to rent-able condition and have already rented the home, within two weeks of its vacation. The advertising/marketing BCI Properties has done, have been tasteful, accurate, and insightful, taking the time to highlight unique features of our homes. Don and Emily are approachable, workable people, not constrained by set modes of operation, and have pleasant 'servant' attitudes whenever we call needing advice or an update. I had a builder clean up, carpet, and paint the inside of the house to sell.  After several months I had no offers.  I then to chose to rent it, also with no interest.  So I contacted you to see the capabilities to rent it.  As I have cancer I had not been able to view the property myself.  You took a personal interest in the house, gave me a bid on bringing it up to rental standards, handled the purchase of needed appliances, blinds, etc. and placed the home on the market.
It rented immediately to a very grounded family who have been extremely good tenants.  Don, as I said you did this all without our meeting, just on your word.  I would recommend you and your firm to anyone in my predicament.
